All the courses are designed for content-makers who are new to filming or for those who have started making their own video content but would like to quickly learn new skills and take their production to the next level.

The courses are divided into popular ‘themes’ but you can tailor them to your individual or organisational needs.

When do the courses run? 

In Sydney, courses run every week.

What We Offer

This one-day course covers all aspects of shooting video on a DSLR in a variety of practical scenarios tailored to your video needs, combined with an afternoon learning how to edit with Adobe Premiere.

  • Take control of your camera and master all the manual settings – ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance and frame rate
  • Learn how to record great audio using radio mics, lapel mics and XLR cables
  • Practical exercises – set-up and record an interview or a testimonial using lights
  • Explore storyboarding, shooting a sequence of shots and why ‘overlay’ is essential
  • Dive into video editing with Adobe Premiere and create your own edit from scratch using effects, titles and music
  • Export the finished video in a social-ready format.
The course is usually taught on a one-on-one or small group basis so that you learn all the skills you need on your own equipment.
The trainer also comes with a full suite of video and audio equipment so you can use other pro-gear as well to help you with investment decisions.

Adobe Premiere will look very familiar if you are currently using other Adobe products so within hours you will be confidently editing and exporting your own videos. Students import, organise, edit and export their own videos by the end of the day.
